The AL1117 is a low voltage differential three terminal regulator with a voltage drop of 1.3V at a 1A load current. The standby current of AL1117 is very low, ranging from 2mA to 5mA. In addition to the fixed version of the AL1117 output voltage (Vout=1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5V), there is also an adjustable version that can provide an output voltage of 1.25 to 12V with only two external resistors.
The AL1117 provides a thermal shutdown function to ensure the stability of the chip and power supply system. It uses fine tuning technology to ensure an output voltage accuracy of 2%. Other output voltage accuracy can be customized as needed, such as 1%. AL1117 provides two packaging methods: SOT-223 and TO-252.
