The Darlington driver chip is a monolithic integrated high voltage, high current Darlington transistor array, and the circuit contains multiple independent Darlington transistor drive circuits. The circuit is internally designed with a freewheeling diode that can be used to drive inductive loads such as relays and stepper motors. A single Darlington tube collector can output 500 mA of current, and connecting Darlington tubes in parallel can achieve higher output current capacity.
